Ride the Tour with a purpose. We’ve teamed up with the Lance Armstrong Foundation's Peloton Project and the Parkinson’s Foundation to make this more than just a vacation, but a unique opportunity to leverage your ride to raise funding for two diseases that touch all of our lives.

You have the choice of supporting either or both of these causes. Target fund-raising levels are $2,500 for the Platinum package and $750 for the Race Participant package. HighGear will track your donations and provide tools for you to raise funds.

If you choose the Lance Armstrong Foundation, HighGear will enroll you in the Peloton Project with a special HighGear number. All of your funds raised will go directly from your donors to the Lance Armstrong Foundation – HighGear will not handle any of your donation funds. If you raise $10,000 you will be automatically qualified for a private small group ride with Lance during the Ride for the Roses in Austin in October of 2004. If you choose the Parkinson’s Foundation, HighGear will create a donor account for you with the Parkinson’s Foundation. HighGear will act as the administrative link to the Foundation for you. However, HighGear will not extract any fees for this – 100% of your donation will go to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
